Same goes for Oregon and West Virginia, who have beaten nobody.

LSU loses on the road in triple OT to a top 10 team, having already beaten three ranked teams, and they drop from 1 to 7, behind teams with far weaker resumes? This poll sucks.

AP does not go into the BCS. So, thats good... just gotta wait for the coaches' poll. Which may, actually, have us farther down than the AP.

We are a pretty good football team, but we're not great and should never have been ranked #1. We cannot stop the pass---and our run defense is good at times. We have a one dimensional three yards and a cloud of dust hester straightforward offense. We have no passing game--------notta----------How could we stop the passing attack of say South Florida??? We were fortunate at SC and very fortunate at Florida-----Our luck ran out against Kentucky and the guys deserved to lose.............bottom line

You are right, they should have had South Florida #1 all this time. I mean, why put an LSU team #1 after a 41 pt win over #9 VT, Win over #12 S. Car., and dramatic win over #9 Florida? Damn, BC beat the **** out of UMass (by 10) Bowling Green, and NOTRE DAME. Very impressive.

Did you guys see Ohio State beat Akron 20-2? That was impressive. And they completely shut down a Kent State team that was coming off a big win on the road at Ohio.

Kentucky beats LSU and is ranked behind them, and a 2-loss Florida team is ranked ahead of unbeaten Kansas.

Polls are getting more and more absurd.

Surging 6-1 Virginia deserves better than No. 25; they have one of the nation's longest winning streaks.

We actually came out pretty good. We take care of business and I think we make it. In 2003 we did not have the respect we have today and we just barely made it in. If we don't them we might get in the Rose Bowl to play USC. It's just ashame the schedule Ohio State and OU have. I'm thinking we make it in if we if we win out with or without Ohio State making it undefeated. Can't loose another game.
