I believe we could take up to 28-29 range but don't think we will. Ed Alexander is a qualifier risk but a plan in place and can still get it done. Up to him. Not worried about Andre Anthony but a little worried about Logan and Miami. Liking where we are with Fulton but could see Mullen at FSU. Don't see Stephon Taylor in the plans as of now. That could change.
Just heard Logan possibly cancelling his Miami visit this weekend!!! Now we need Fowler to stick with LSU. I am slightly worried about him given his family and friends pushing Texas.
@bhelmLSU, are you hearing of the possibility of any singing day surprises? Great news, I hope we can keep Logan and especially Fowler. I was hoping to have Mullen in this class but figured we could lose out in part based on the numbers of the current class and the freshman from this year.
There could be some surprises like usual. Thinking it could be one of the OL. Gary would be huge surprise but not seeing it as of now. Nigel Warrior would be another but just like Gary hard to get hopes up. Someone said that would be like a team stealing away Kevin Faulk kid from LSU. Gotta think it will be Tenn. Safety Anderson I would put in potential surprise column. New names will be popping up from here on out. That is for sure.
Could you check on that projection again. Think the 247 update was out of whack yesterday. Guys who got bumps to 5 and 4 stars weren't adjusted yet. Well at least that was a issue being discussed on 247 last night. Shea just said we took a commanding lead with the Lawrence commit.
We can't afford to lose Fowler, he's a big time player at a big time need position. Logan cancelling his Miami visit would make his situation sound much better.
