I was counting White as an LB, so if they are recruiting him as RB, then we're only 2 LBs in the class. Certainly not enough. The upside is the two we're getting are exceptional and should be 3 year starters. Joyner seems to be a flake, but could still be part of this class and hopefully he is.

On Joiner...to add to his recuitiment fiasco. Showed up late to check in for UA game and had reporters getting questions about where he was until he magically appeared dressed up and practicing. It was like he was a ghost ninja.

He wanted to announce like Divinity but never set it up so they let him pre-record his announcment as well. Reporters who were on the sideline must of not realized it was tape-delayed and started tweeting out he chose FSU and he denied it up and down until they played the tape on ESPN this evening. Oh and he still hasn't visisted FSU or LSU or maybe he did and no one knows about it yet.

Sounds like a kid who is going to disappear on the field just as well. Good luck with all that.

LSU is going to have to move some players to linebacker. We are way too thin as it is. We lose one of the 2 we have that are worth a damn. Probably lose the 2nd to the draft and the only other one that played worth a damn other than Beckwith and Jones was Louis who is graduating as well. Seriously what does LSU do at MLB if Beckwith leaves. I'm sorry but Duke Riley isn't a guy we can depend on to start at the most important position on defense.

If Duke Riley is the 2nd coming of DJ Welter and he starts, I'm boycotting LSU football.

Duke Riley would be worse than DJ Welter.

    Last 6 in:

    DT Lawrence
    CB Fulton
    QB Haskins (somehow, some way)
    OT Allen
    DT Christmas-Giles
    MLB White?????

I don't know who that MLB will be, but we have no choice but to get one. White would be a candidate for MLB obviously based on his size, but he's got the off the field issues now and he wants to play RB.

If we get to 26, then that spot should be another O-lineman. Another LB at the 27th spot. Then I think we end it there.

I think there is a LB committed to Wisconsin out of Georgia. Maybe we target him...

Yes there is always that angle. and if aranda likes him, let's get him here. just checked Wisconsin's commit list, there is an inside lb out of fort Lauderdale. pretty lowly ranked however.
