Why not move Fowler inside? He has the size (according to Rivals, at least). I always thought OLBs make good MLBs because they already have the speed, they just usually need to add some size, but this kid already has it.

From the town I teach in. Not a guy we want. I wager he wont be there in four years..Truly, I doubt he will make it one season.

That may be Aranda's one problem; getting used to recruiting 4 & 5 stars rather than 3 stars.

I believe we have Fowler targeted as MLB.

As for Joiner he says we are getting an official visit before NSD.

    He'll enjoy that problem immensely.

I forgot he goes at 232 lbs. So yeah, he's going inside.

So with Thornton projected at OLB, that actually leaves the Tigers a little underwhelming in the DE department in this class. Not sure if we could pull any high profile player this late in the game.

But if you're plan is to move to a 3-4, your ends are basically defensive tackles.

true, I keep forgetting we got Aranda. still in a bit of shock I suppose.

these LBs are going to have to put on about 15-20 lbs of muscle to really fit the build of the 3-4 linebackers we will be needing.....6'2 218 at OLB (i.e., Divinity) suddenly needs to be 235, 6'1 226 at MLB (i.e., Fowler) needs to be closer to 245.

In the NFL, your OLBs in a 3-4 are typically in the 260 lb range.

Once Key bulks up to about 250-260 he is going to be unstoppable.
