:crystal: :geauxtige I WILL PREDICT THE SCORE TO BE: :crystal: :geauxtige

    :tigerhead :helmet: :tigerhead

    56

    :bncry: MT 10

    :911: :911: :911: :911: :911: :911: :911: :911:

IF LSU'S OFFENSE AND DEFFENSE PLAYS THE WAY THEY DID AGAINST VT THEN NO ONE WILL COMPETE WITH OUR TIGERS THIS YEAR. THE GAME THIS SAT WILL BE A PRETTY GOOD GAME UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF THE FIRST THEN THE TIGERS WILL JUMP AHEAD AND RUN AWAY WITH IT.

I am an LSU alum that grew up in Rutherford County, TN (where MTSU is located). Hopefully I can help draw some similarities here for my Louisiana brethren.

MTSU is about 35 miles from Nashville. I typically think of Southeastern as being similar to MTSU. MTSU is a commuter school in a town about the size of Hammond. The big difference being that there is actually some school spirit at MTSU.

Most of the folks up there refer to them as "Little Middle", which has always confused me since it is a huge school. I believe former Titan Tyrone Calico went to MTSU.

Murfreesboro is a fun little college town that is transforming into a Nashville suburb as the sprawl spreads eastward.

I hope this helps. MTSU folks are good people from a great part of the country. Murfreesboro is pretty much where the Tennessee valley begins to meet the mountains. I am hopeful that our fans will be hospitable to any of their fans that make the trip down.

    Oh, I am predicting LSU 52 - MTSU 13

Flynn gets min playing time, RP in charge, with Welker getting some snaps as well.

Dry conditions, low 80s, relatively low humidity.

Fans still up for the game - MTSU completely overwhelmed.

    LSU - 58 MTSU - 3

Whether it's Flynn or RP, I think we'll be a bit conservative on offense. We certainly won't show anything new on offense and I expect to see a heavy dose of Hester, KW, Scott and Murphy. I don't think we'll see much running from the QB to keep them healthy. We'll pass when we need to, but it'll mostly be ball control to shorten the game. We should easily dominate the line of scrimmage. Our defense will do what they normally do.

    LSU 42 MTSU 7

Those are my thoughts too and why I took Jacob Hester, Richard Murphy, Charles Scott in the Fantasy league and threw in LaFell hoping he gets the big play after MTSU is burned for a TD playing the run.

I also hope we experiment with different punt returners tonight. Looked like Doucet was back there last week to fair catch everything and take no chances.

Give these young guys like Holliday some experience.
