    Yes. Screw the Illuminati...its FIFA we have to worry about! I'm with John on this. It is stinkingly corrupt but my most favorite world tournament.

    John Oliver has put out some good stuff. I might get around to watching the show.

    It took me until I was about 40 to figure it out, but that ending is what makes soccer worth watching. It is a game of anticipation, just seeming to aimlessly meander along, until, in the blink of an eye, something amazing suddenly happens.

    You would think maybe some LSU fans would start to have an appreciation of soccer. I mean there's a lot of defense and very little scoring. Sounds like the Tigers from 2009-2012

    Soccer is a lot like basketball. You dribble the ball. Pass it back and forth from side to side trying to open up the defense and send a man charging to the net in hopes of getting the ball to him to put it in the net.

    It is just so much harder to soccer on a field 120 yards long and 70 yards wide. And the ball is played with the feet and not the hands. And the soccer goal is 8 yards wide, not 16 inches. So you see that is not much like basketball at all.
