Louisiana National Guard MP's already stand guard at Louisiana National Guard bases. They don't do so at US military bases. No, recruiting offices outside of army bases are protected by the local police. Of course it is typical Jindal "look at me" stuff. He's a smart guy who thinks the rest of us are stupid. Big mistake.
Just imagine 83 year old Joe, a retired man who stll lives in the house he and his late wife bought when they were young. Good neighborhood back then but there are quite a few undesirables in the area. Joe doesn't want to move to a nursing home despite the urging of his family Joe was an avid hunter who has handled rifles and shotguns his whole life but now he feels his self protection needs require that he purchase a pistol. Now Joe is in pretty good heath for his age. He even still drives his car to shop and run errands but he gets a little forgetful sometimes and forgets to pay his bills. He has given his son power of attorney over his bank account and his son makes sure his bills get paid on time. Joe has a few dietary requirements but he is not much of A cook. If his daughter didn't bring him nutritious home cooked meals Joe would live on cereal and sandwiches. Because Joe is on Social Security, our attention grabbing opportunist president has reacted to the latest incident by proposing that people like Joe are a danger to society and if we only prevent Joe, a devout Catholic from buying a gone the problem of crazies and Muslims killing people will go away. Who is going to stand up for Joe? Red, will you do it? After all you are not getting any younger yourself
What is this, The Twilight Zone? Step away from the whiskey, pal. Imagine, a scenario . . . I'm not getting crazier, either. I know you don't know it, but you've gone 'round the bend, Tex.
Its amazing how you have your talking points ready as soon as Obama comes up with one of his hair brained press releases to appease the sheep. He must send you an advance memo.
