Not to mention he's leaving a team with a QB as talented as any in the country, whether JR, MF, or RP starts next year or the year after. Highest paid OC in the country, top QB, national exposure, 1 WR signed in the last class...I wish Amp the best, and understand his frustration, but he will likely not find a better situation for himself anywhere else. Tino, I hope Amp is considering all the factors here, he's making a decision as big as the one he made when he chose LSU.
So.. who is Tigerskin from tigerbait.com...? http://lsu.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fid=437&mid=56448440&sid=&tid=56448440&style=1
Thanks guys, I was eager to hear more about this story, and in one thread, it's been completely beaten to death. I wish him luck, unless he plays LSU. I'll be glad when all the feel-good crap about "team" and "perserverence" and "injury" and all that junk blows over, and we can get back to talking trash about 20 year olds. That's so much more fun.
Speaking of Nick, one of his things was that he didn't like to have a depth chart and often refused to provide one for ther media. I remember he said something once about somebody always ends up at the bottom of the depth chart and they start thinking about leaving when the reality of getting playing time is much more fluid than a depth chart indicates.
Look if your going to come on hear and make statements people are going to disagree with you when it is not correct or the same as their opinion. If you cant take the heat then dont post. If you can take the heat then grow up a little and stick by your guns. Nothing personal but this is a forum to express views. Some people agree with you and some people dont. Live with it and think carefully before just throwing some posts out there that have not been thought out and dont make sense. I must admit i dont agree with alot of what you have had to say but i know you are an LSU fan and i am sure we will find some common ground. That is usually how it works. If you agree with everything someone says then you are brainwashed !!! Lets get this season started so we can focus on ripping apart the other team on the field and off.
I don't see what the big deal is. If Amp leaves, happy trails. If he decides to stay, good luck. It's one guy in a sea of talent. Swim or sink, Amp. If you get out of the pool, then, see ya. Wouldn't want to be you, if you ever play against us. Would Amp have recieved some playing time this year? Sure. Will he be missed if he leaves. No. Move on. 17 days, 9 hours, 11 minutes, 35 seconds Edit: I have been an Amp Hill fan since he arrived. At fan day, I pointed him out to the wife and stated that we should see some good play from him. I told her that he has been injured since he came here, but, should be at 100% this year. I think the problem is not enough people asked for his autograph at fan day. :hihi: Maybe he got his feelings hurt.
very true. i remember that tirade he had when asked about it initially. that dude is funny in his own 'reich'.
Good Luck to Amp. If someone on this board saw another team bashing a player that had left their program, we would all be railing them...and rightfully so, imo. Unless Amp goes to a rival of ours or a team we play, I wish him nothing but the best
