I also said, "I was hoping that we'd keep him on." This would mean to retain him as our defensive coach.

The comment about Skip has to do with his shaky decisions as of recently (Miles, Logo, Baseball - these are big to me). I was not happy about Miles' hiring, but thus far, I will give him his due. However, I think by the 3rd - 4th year, we'll see where we're at. That's about how long it took us to see Dinardo for what he was.

Again, I'm not trying to start anything. Just stating an opinion.

Oh and Red, it's, "Ask and ye shall receive."

How could the decisions be shaky already? Miles appears to be a great hire so far and just because you and others have no faith in Skip I'll say hiring Miles isn't even close to being shaky right now. And the baseball hire appears tro me to be a very solid decision, far from shaky.

I watched Muschamp a little Saturday night. he is very animated and I like that. I know Auburn and LSU have become rivals (which I think is healthy) and I like the coaching relationships.......Fisher formerly at Auburn and Muschamp formerly at LSU. It's kind of getting like Auburn and Georgia in the coaching relationships.

im sure you've seen the Boom video posted here a million times. best part for me is easily muschamp going apeshiite drilling the players right before the games. maybe you didnt notice it was him at the time but either way he's certainly fun to watch on there and especially during the games. hes even more animated than saban which is tough to do.

It will be interesting when we play them. They certainly know each other's styles; which will make for a fun chess match. Hopefully, Jimbo can come up with a creative game plan. We haven't won at Jordan-Hare in a long time.

Why can't he just have an opinion? He's not sold on Miles yet...so what. Most people aren't. We had a great year last year, but there's nothing wrong with reserving judgment.

Who is our DC now, by the way?

I know I'm a moron for asking, but it never occurred to me to ask.

Some guy a lot of folk wanted to run off after the first couple of games, but then became quite a fan favorite when it turned out that he knew what he was doing, Bo Pelini.

I just responded to your post and I didn't call you names while doing it. Whatever "red" you have gotten you have apparently earned from somebody.

Because in reality he hasn't reserved his judgement, calling the hire shaky and blaming Skip shows what his real opion is. And we haven't said he could not have an opinion or voice it, I just disagree with him and have voiced my opinion as well.
