No doubt we'll be good, deep staff and Lane coming back, as you said power and contact hiiters to set the table, good fielding. Zeringue(?) will have a monster year IMO. The 2 brothers are going to light up the scoreboard. Boy this should be fun to watch. Just keep Rice and Vandy's pitcher's away, please.

Don't forget basketball...the Tigers are SMOKING right now. How bout a National Champ in FB, a Final Four in Basketball and the College World Series for baseball. We all know that the track team will dominate anyway.

Yes Pat Henry will bring home a couple of NCs in track as usual. I think a Final Four this year for basketball is too much to ask for the men. I would be happy with a tourney win, and maybe Sweet 16. The women should be able to compete for another SEC Champ. and should atleast get to the Sweet 16.

we need one of those countdown clocks at the top of the page or something that would be really cool to help count the days down. On the other hand that could be kinda hard since we don't know who we are playing yet on opening day.

Well I predicted that after we lost in the CWS last year that anything short of CWS championship game would be a dissappointment to me. I follow LSU baseball very close and I look for us to go all the way. We are loaded and if we don't get any injuries, we should cruise to Omaha.

I got a baseball ???? is Lane Mestapay (Sp) back at full health. If so we know who 2/3 of our weekend rotation will be with him and Nate Bumstead.

Justin Meier could end up as the 3rd weekend starter.

Our rotation will probably be Mestepey(if he is at full strength), Meier, Bumstead. Also Determann was awesome at the end of last year and could possibly be a weekend starter. He will at least be the midweek starter. We have awesome depth at pitching which will help during regionals because we have 4 legitimate weekend starters.
