So, what is it I said that you don't understand? Pelini is still the
defensive coordinator, right? When I said we took what USL gave us, I meant that stopping the defensive outside rush wasn't a big concern.

Edit: Damn Saban Fan, read what's there. Sorry. Senior moment.

Well, I will just hope that 6' guy is your second best so Fontenot can get him. Cason can cover a 6'3 guy pretty good.

I don't know if there is a secondary in CFB that could cover our 4 wide set "good." Speed is our strength.

Well, we have two of the best cover guys in the pac, we have one of the best safeties in the country, and we have two freshman CB's that are just astounding, and might end up being a better pair than Fontenot and Cason. So if there is a team that you face that might be able to, it is us.

Y'all will be seeing a lot of this:

Our secondary will not be a concern. We have 2 potential 1st rounds picks in Cason and Johnson. I think your passing game will be more effected by the pass rush. If Russell has time, he will pick us apart. The same can be said about Tui.

Both secondaries are tops in their respective conference. The passing game will come down to who gets pressure on the OB.

I don't expect us to overload against the run. Our LB's are very good. One could make an argument that they are the best in the PAC 10.

This is a great discussion. Keep it up.

BTW, please don't call us AU again. :)

Disagree. Our LB'ers are good, but no where close to USC's linebackers. USC has like 7 that could start at almost any program in the country.

You're probably right about who gets pressure on the QB. Russell had a great outing last week, but they did not get pressure on him, he had all night to pick out his receivers. But, last year, JR faced several top flight defenses, so its not like he's a virgin or anything.

Just a typo. Funny thing is that when I proofread the post, I had ASU up there and quickly removed the S. Well, it was funny to me at least.
