I think its ridiculous to play another teams fight song. It shows weakness.

And I don't really wanna hear our stuff played by anybody but the GBFTL either, unless it is some exigent circumstance.

 

I agree with the "special circumstance." If we were playing Tulane this week and the AU band played their fight song, I think it would be a nice gesture given what they've gone through. Bama fans cheered for the Southern Miss players last week when they came on the field instead of the customary boos reserved for the opposition. That's cool. But in general, absent something of that nature, this is football, not paper dolls. I don't want my band playing anyone else's songs.

I found it mildly amusing and entirely appropriate, considering the venue we are talking about.

Because, you know...all LSU fans are drunk.
