That's very likely to end soon. I expect a bunch of decommits unless aliens abduct Miles and replace him with someone willing to change.
they are ranked high but we have a shitty d line, average linebackers, no o-line and no qb on the roster going on 3 years now. we dont recruit for need apparently.
Recruiting isn't any where near being the problem that player development and having a clue about offense are.
hard to tell at this point at those key positions but im inclined to agree. we arent the naval academy. we should have athletes producing at every position. But what I see on both lines I see weakness. Smallish on the d-line, slow fat asses on the o-line. the most important positions. I think its both talent evaluation/filling needs correctly and coaching are all big swings and misses. qbs and wrs dont matter at this point.
Good points all but if our lines are weak what does that say about Tommy Moffitt? BTW my comment doesn't relieve LEM OF ANY RESPONSIBILITY.
There is talent on the o-line based on previous drafts. It's piss poor coaching. Honestly, you can't have everything, usually, Saban is the only coach that has been able to continually win and reload. With that said, I am willing to overlook certain shortcomings if it is made up in other areas. This has always been the case with Les, except that trend has now caught up with him and he is no longer competitive at an acceptable level. I have zero faith things will change with Miles here. They really need to move to more of an option game and give Harris simple one choice decisions. Hand it to LF or keep it. Pass to the first read or run. Pass to the first read or throw it away. If you are in trouble, run or throw it away. Do not try to be the HERO!
I wonder what kind of bullshit @LSUDad is peddling on tos. I bet it's freaking hilarious. We need a spy. I went there for 5 minutes today and almost threw up.
If you went there, why don't you be the spy? On the other hand, you probably can't handle rational discussions.
