  2. I have not seen any confirmation besides Mascona but he is saying he confirmed that Kevin Mawae has submitted his name for consideration for the OL job.

I am toen on this one. One part of me says rol lthe dice and take him and the other says maybe as an assisitant OL coach first given he hasn't coached before.

  4. This is a no brainer when one of the games best modern players and alumnus wants to coach you hire him. I'm getting giddy with the thought of how many top offense of line recruits would want to learn the position from one of the NFL's best players.

  5. IMO this is what we need. A great recruiter and a great coach. I just picture some young fiery guy who wants to prove his worth. Stud was a waste. I've been saying he needed to hit the road for a while now.

    ALMOST ANYONE >>>>>>>> stud
  6. Nope, look at Cams resume, Les wanted someone from the outside looking in. He trusts Cam.
  7. I'll tell you a recruiting story. A good friend of mine needed a TE in his recruiting class. He took his TE's coach an went to see a big time TE. They walked into the home to see the parents and the player. My friend asked the player, "How many of the coaches recruiting you played the TE position, how many played it in the NFL and how many made the Pro Bowl as a TE?" Didn't take long to get the attention of the Dad and the Kid. Oh, they signed the kid in their class that year.
  8. I say hire him so he can tell all the linemen, It's Mawae or the Highway.
  9. Bah boom boom ching
