This is a pretty old pic of Charlie Mac and LSU was supporting this logo then. Some people say they dont like it cause auburn started to use it. I think Auburn stole this logo from us.
Great pic...when I first looked at it, I thought you meant that Auburn started wearing hats with "L" on them.
jOnatharOy, It looks like he is outside of Tiger Stadium before there was a West and East upper deck. The bars on the windows are from the dorm rooms in the stadium.
Looks like the North West corner. If you took that picture today, you'd see the Admin building to the distant right and possibly the new gift shop on the west side. Of course you'd see a few cranes, cement trucks, and construction debris as well.
The comic Tiger was a generic logo. Tiger high schools all over America used it, that was one reason it was changed.
