I dont know if its been posted, i didnt see it. Junior Nick Child from Metairie and red-shirt freshman Jeffery Jack from Houston are no longer members of the team because the two violated unspecified team rules earlier in the semester.
Re: 2 lsu football players dismissed from team Oooof!!! Our depth in the secondary just took a hit.... Let's hope Jason Teague qualifies like he said he would so that he's at least eligible to play if needed this year.... But whatever they did, obviously, it's a shame to lose two guys that were probably going to be counted on to provide depth and play special teams this coming year, but it's good to see Miles isn't affraid to stick to the rules. I hope that as more information comes out, it's proved that the punishment was just. ....wonder what they did though! :shock:

Re: 2 lsu football players dismissed from team When you can bring in 25 blue chippers every year, you can afford to cut loose any current player who just isn't with the program. In fact room must be made for the newcomers every year, and it doesn't pay to get on the coach's bad side when he's making up the prospective 85-scholarship list every spring.
Re: 2 lsu football players dismissed from team Well...I just didn't think we were all that deep at CB this year to begin with. 1. Jackson 2. Joseph 3. Zenon 4. Euegene 5. Teague (if qualified) That's pretty much it, right? Chris Hawkins and Curtis Taylor MIGHT be able to help out at CB in a pinch I guess.... But if run into injuries during the season, things could get tight....Especially if Teague doesn't come through and qualifies.
