Re: 2 lsu football players dismissed from team Negative. He's got a bad rep for letting the inmates run the asylum over at Sheephumper U. Gundy kicked out like 14 players after he left. I don't want the enemies of this program and our coach having any ammunition against it.

Re: 2 lsu football players dismissed from team He's hardly got a bad rep for it. Oklahoma St had relatively few incidents during his tenure and players being kicked off after he leaves doesn't necessarily reflect on him.
Re: 2 lsu football players dismissed from team Exactly. The incidents didn't start until after Miles left. I saw it as a lot of kids testing Gundy in ways they didn't dare test Miles. And their gamble was a bad one.

Explain guys like Prentiss Elliot, who had all kinds of incidents yet was allowed to stay on the team. I explain it away as "He had to do stuff like that at oSu", but his rep is bad nevertheless.

Re: 2 lsu football players dismissed from team Deek, if you read the OSU boards, then you should know that the majority of the OSU fans could not get past Miles leaving. I have had to listen to the crap spewing from my sister and how snotty she has been towards Miles since he left OSU - when she loved him when he was there. All problems are going to be attributed to him, even tho there was no indication of when the problems occured. Was he perfect? No, but I think that to say Gundy inherited all the problems is also far from the truth. I also think Gundy was feeling the need to mark the program as "his". I am an OSU fan, have been all my life. But I have been disappointed in the way Gundy has handled some things. Did Miles overlook some things at OSU? Probably. Did all the problems occur on his watch? I seriously doubt it. Will Miles run a tight ship and clean program at LSU? I believe he will.
