Re: 2 lsu football players dismissed from team The Big XII is just an all around hateful conference (not the only one mind you), but the fact that Oklahoma St is a tiny program that managed to hang around with the big boys incited some reputation by rivals that it was because Miles allowed bad apples etc.

I think you are right on in that Okie Lite, a "have-not", has been able to beat the big guys once in a while. That never makes you popular with the "haves". And OkieTiger, I've always liked OSU too....
Re: 2 lsu football players dismissed from team I know a few aggies & texas students, and when we talk football - they usually resort to attempting to downgrade the other team/coach, especially if they lose to them. I've also visited a few Texas & Oklahoma boards and got that same general impression.
Re: 2 lsu football players dismissed from team Gotcha. I live here, I've run into that too. But really, most years, no more so than anywhere else. It has been worse over the last 5-6 years although it's hard to argue with success. Now if Okie Lite would just beat 'em both..........:thumb:
Re: 2 lsu football players dismissed from team He's blazing fast, but I just don't think he's got the quick transition step (backpedal, etc.). Corners need a low center of gravity to change directions quickly. Xavier might be too tall, no?
Re: 2 lsu football players dismissed from team Nick Child was a fantastic player at Rummel. He and Craig Steltz were a heckuva tandem for the Raiders. I remember when Saban was here that Child was in his doghouse and there was some question whether he was going to be back. :lsup:
