Just a random thought but... why do we call Tiger Stadium "Death Valley"... i think it would be more original and fitting to call it "Deaf Valley".
Congrats on Miles If it turns out to be true, which all indications are it will, I think LSU will at least maintain the current level of the program. There seems to be little doubt that Les will leave wherever he is for the Michigan job when it becomes available. Don't let the DC stuff bother you guys. OSU's DB's are not very good other than Darrent Wiliiams and the strategy was not to give up the big one and work for stops and turnovers. I am a little surprised a more established coach wasn't selected and that the decision couldn't wait another week, but I guess those in control already know that no one in the NFL that they were interested in wanted the job (otherwise why hire Les now). OSU has always been a stepping stone job and this just continues it. Good Luck, Les is a class guy and will bring no shame on your program.
Assasinate Clay for us... so he doesn't make the move :thumb: P.S. I don't know if you noticed but... our DBs weren't lights out today either.
If he loses, we'll say he stinks...if he wins will we call him odor-les? And when he whips those kids into shape, will they truly have learned their leson?
Recruiting You guys keep an eye open as to whether OSU special teams coach Joe DeForest joins Les at LSU. JD is a USL grad who is widely regarded as one of the keys to Les' recruiting.
I've read this several times now, apparently he is a recruiting powerhouse. Although I've read Miles is very good as well.
