It's just another case of Ole Miss getting a quality QB that is just affraid of competition (Lane and now Snead). When guys transfer so early, it says a lot about the personality of the player. On the flip side, take a guy like Matt Flynn--who could start for quite a number of teams. Ole Matt isn't afraid of competition and stuck it out because most of all, he's a team player. If JR comes back, then I wouldn't blame Matt if he transferred to another school to complete his eligibility because he's stuck it out and battled for 4 years. If at THAT point, a player wants to transfer, then at least he's earned that right and respect.
