Much like against Bama, LSU will score readily because LSU's defense will win the battle of field position. Ole Miss will score, but don't look for LSU to give up too many TDs. Live by the blitz, die by the blitz. We may get burned once or twice, but those are acceptable losses in Saban's system. Plus, C-Web runs down receivers and backs like no one else in the country.
Don't let any logic and facts get in the way of your smack talking ... lol Those 2 "bad hair" days resulted in Manning being 55-97 for 701 yds, 7 TDs and 4 INTs ... and 79 points! Maybe Manning should have played defense in those games too?
LSU keeps the score down a bit by playing a running/ball control offense after going up by two touchdowns. This slows the tempo, keeps Eli off the field and prevents him from getting into any kind of rhythm. LSU 35 OM 14 You're Welcome, Enjoy.
Oh, another Eli Fan (wow). You provide no substance in your argument, nothing but AMMO to be used to cut your post down. YOU SAID FARCHIE THREW 7 TDs .... yeah ... sounds great. AND HOW MANY INTs? F~O~U~R, hehehehehehehehehe MANNING HAS THROWN 1/2 OF HIS SEASON TOTAL INTs (8) in these 2 games ... and you are defending his performance. And we are to be impressed with this CRAP, a 7:4 TD/INT ratio? Against Memphis & Texas Tech, ranked in the bottom 25 in Dee. Not me, bucko! You are dismisssssssssssssssssssssssssed.
Answer a really simple question here: Mauck goes 28-48 for 350 yds, 4 TDs and 2 INTs against Ole Miss this Saturday... LSU loses 41-38. Do you blame Mauck?
AND I'll go another step in my indictment of FARCHIE. He "CHOKED" with the Memphis game on the line, muahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahaha: http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/recap?gid=200309060101 The Tigers overcame four touchdown passes by Ole Miss quarterback Eli Manning. He was 26-of-48 for 292 yards, threw two interceptions in the fourth quarter, thwarting any potential comeback. Memphis converted one interception into a 17-yard field goal by Stephen Gostkowski to seal the victory. And, next at home against Texas Tech, Farchie choked again with the game on the line. He went toe-to-toe with the Symons, who passed for 600 yards, muahahahhahahahahahahahahhahaha: http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/recap?gid=200309270077 The closing excerpt (the cherry on top) ................................... Ole Miss (2-2) had one last shot to win, but Eli Manning's pass was intercepted by Ryan Aycock on a throw intended for Mike Espy near the Texas Tech goal line. With 2 games on the line in the 4th quarter and a chance to win both and be UNDEFEATED, FARCHIE LAYS AN EGG ..............................Again, ure dismissed. I always provide sources before dismissing a fellow Tigerforums poster. I post controversial (considered smack?) items, but never unsubstantiated BS. If you love Manning so damn much, go to an Ole Pi$$ forum and praise him there. He's nothing special ... I wouldn't take 2 Mannings for 1 Mauck
I'll go one better than that, FARCHIE FAN: I'll give you a real example of LSU QB performance and results. Don't believe me ... read the FLA/LSU game stats http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/boxscore?gid=200310110076 Yeah, I held Matt Mauck accountable for the Florida game loss. He played like crap, admitted it and apologized to his team. ZERO TDs and 2 INTs, along with rashes of penalties. As for your 41-38 example, you suck the big one Colonel Reb. LSU is going to "PUNK" Manning and YOUR OLE PI$$ REBELS this Saturday while Matt Mauck takes care of business. Permanently Dismissssssssssssssssssssssssssssed as a Reb.
You are just another idiot sitting behind the keyboard ... pretty easy running your mouth over the internet. Your momma should be proud! I'm done with you...
I love it when they get carved up with the rapier wit, take offense and start talking "nasty". Momma is proud as she can be cuz she knows I'm a TRUE tiger.
I'm with you on this particular issue, TigerWins. I've been trying to tell myself that Eli was overhyped for 3 years but I've finally realized he's a damn good college QB. Not sure if he will be successfull in the NFL but he's a legitimate top 3 Heisman contender. The pass that his WR dropped in the 4th Qtr vs. Memphis was nearly undroppable and would've give Ole Miss a lead with 8 minutes left and Eli's line 5 TDs, 0 INTs (2 INT's came late in game). My opinion was that LSU had better athletes than Ole Piss at just about every position over the last couple of years but Eli is 1-1 against us and nearly 2-0 if Cameron Vaughn doesn't make Eli's elbow numb for the 14-13 game. Without Eli (say Romaro Miller for argument's sake), I think we win those games by AT LEAST 2 TDs each. I'm just glad we have Saban and our D for this game. Ole Mrs will be back to cellar dwellar next year and this is it for them. I wouldn't want it any other way.
