everyone in the world HATES USC.... That is a tough bulls-eye to overcome as we saw last year for our team... Someone will jump up and get em! Don't give me this 'Leinart and Bush' crap either b/c they lost a lot of guys that don't show up on the box-score.
LSU will not be this years Auburn. If they go undefeated, they will be playing for the :crystal: . Here's why. Last year about this time Auburn was barely in the top 20 in the polls and nobody was really talking about them. I may be wrong with this bit of info but every poll that I have seen has the tigers in the top 10. Auburn probably got screwed but they had to jump to many teams. LSU will not have that problem. I know that our two cup cake games that are on our schedule do not help our case but it wont matter in my opinion because of what our preseason ranking is going to be and that's going to be way better that Auburn's were this time last year. Reason number 2.- So far everything that I have heard this year is that LSU with the talent that they have is far better than anyone in the country other than USC. Hell even Trev Alberts predicted us to play USC in the NC. That is saying something about LSU if Trev says it Reason number 3.- Last year all the pronausticators wanted to see OU and USC play for the NC. It didn't matter what Auburn did. And dont tell me it was the computers. This year eveybody wants to see LSU and USC play for the NC if both teams are undefeated. Thats just how it is. In my opinion it politics. Thats the match up everybody wants to see. Those idiots made the mistake a couple of years ago when they picked ou to play in NO instead of USC. They will not make the same mistake again this year if both teams do what they are supposed to. I have put some serious thought into this subject and this is what I think. I am a big LSU Tiger fan and again LSU will not be this year's Auburn from last year. :geauxtige :crystal:

This year eveybody wants to see LSU and USC play for the NC if both teams are undefeated. Thats just how it is. My guess is there's a whole ton of teams that have the same aspirations as LSU. My second guess is the winner of Texas-tOSU will jump to #2 and stay there 'til beaten. My third guess is fUSC will get bumped off somewhere along the line, making for a real dog fight for the NC. (maybe #3 is wishful, but there are few things I'd rather see happen this season) Let's just get this thing started!!!!
I wonder how most of you would react if LSU, Ohio St., and USC all went undefeated and USC and Ohio St. were selected to play in the Rose Bowl. That is a real possibility.
