1. don't they all look so special. apparently, the one's they interviewed were either friends of the boy reporting or on the newspaper staff, if not they would have had more than the chosen few.
  2. The more they talk about it and put it down, the more people from campus that will drive over and see it. Keep up the good work. :thumb:
  3. Thats what I say! They are promoting it more than we are!
  4. I saw on the Rivals message board a USC poster saying how much they dont care but he rambled on so much about how he doesnt you can really tell it gets under his skin.

Some of you think this is rediculous and a waste of money and you are entitled to your opinions but i have to disagree.

I think this is great and most of the other teams that are not located in Los Angeles or Upper East Coast seem to think this is ok too.

It just as easy could have been their team screwed by the Big Market media bias.

People like ESPN must be held accountable for their biases and if they arent then it is sort of the Masters boys club . They get to decide who they want instead of the process deciding.

The thing you dont hear alot of them saying is the reason we have the BCS is because of the bias in the AP poll to begin with. Are you telling me that every State is represented equally in the AP Poll. It is just like the Olympics in that any time you leave it up to human selection it can be manipulated.

I dont think the BCS formula is perfected yet but i trust a system that says we will rate your schedule, your win-loss , how teams you played rate , and a human poll of qualified people ( Not Sports Writers ) .

We will make the Conference Championship game unified by either all conferences having them or none having them.

And weigh the strength of schedule more important so that we see more LSU-Mich or USC-GA or Ohio St-Florida games than LSU-Appl ST or USC-Hawaii or Fla-ULM games.

Then you will be able to see how the best rate against each other before the end of the season .

Give em hell Onepeat.com maybe more things like this will get the College Presidents to get off their ass and approve a true National Championship on the field.

Then all we have to worry about then is whether they call the push in the back penalties by RB to help their QB into the end zone on the last play of the game or whether thay call a penalty on the extra point of a game when the player lands on his own man and the penalty is never called just like the push in the back.

  5. I would argue that the reason we have the BCS is because conference commisioners and athletic directors saw the opportunity for a whole lot of $$$$.... all done in the name of a good cause to fix biased polls of course..... Lets not derail the thread though. :thumb:
  6. I think it was a good idea... PROVIDED that the Billboard went up a little quicker. All of the delays kind of made things old by the time it DID go up. For the record, I did donate money. A lot of it considering I'm a college student with a paltry income. I think it's cool, but no matter what we say or do socal citizens could simply care less.
  7. Plus.. it realllllllly irritates me when people leave an obvious and discernible void between the L, the S and the U. It's EL-ESH-YOU dammit!
  8. I agree. It would have been perfect if it would have gone up sooner.
  9. Nothing is perfect. :thumb:
  10. There's still a discernible void in that spelling.
I think it's more like "Ellisyou" :tigerhead
