I am going to L.A. this afternoon, and will be there over the weekend. I will definately take some pictures for you guys.
The board in Bristol will even be better served... It is only natural that the home town of a team claims a title as their own... It is a completely diff story when the professionals that get paid to cover the activities and are supposed to be the "voice of reason" dont even remember the 2003 LSU team
It is okay to say it is a waste of money, b/c partially it is... But I just can't stand how some people say "Awe, the money should go to New Orleans instead." They had a column in the Reveille about this recently... While those people do need money, it is unfair to completely take out leisure time for everyone else...
HOU: L! Now, what movie did that come from again? CGI: Yeah, if I mentioned N.O., then I'd have gotten the Cindy Sheehan Award for Most Smug and Self-Righteous. I think USC's three-peat religion is pure hogwash, but to spend ~$10k on a billboard just to tick them off? I love my pranks, but that one's pricey, and not really worth the slight bothering they'll get from it. Why not just pay me the money, I'll go to USC wearing a "Three-peat, what three-peat?" T-shirt?
I hope it makes the news up here! I'm tempted to drive down to Bristol to see for myself! :thumb: ...it'll only take about 3 hours for me....
