    In 1986, Miami (OH) came into Tiger Stadium and knocked off a highly ranked LSU team 21-12.

    1986 One of the most embarassing losses in the history of LSU football. LSU pounded aggy 35-17 the week before in the opener. Many of us were thinking NC run. Only other loss in regular season was 19-21 to :eek:lefire: .

    Against MiamiO, Tigers had 7 turnovers, gave the game away. Tigers dropped from 8th in the AP to 18th. :dis:

    Their administration allows their band and "yell leaders" to aim obscene gestures at opponents during games while in uniform, home and away. It's one thing for run of the mill jerk fans to do so, but for the school to look the other way when their representatives do it is inexcusable. Will always put them at the top of my list, even though I enjoy watching their band.

    OBTW, I am an ND fan--had a brother go there.

    It happened in 88 in Tiger Stadium and in 89 at Kyle Field. Both times, they gave us the clear "up yours" sign, directed at Tiger Band. It's bad enough that they tolerated that behavior at their place, but to have that done to us by their band, in our house as we lined up for Pregame, is too much.

    Like I said, everybody has their jerks. School representatives should behave better. If I had done that when I was in Tiger Band, I would have been out before the evening was done.

    The "gesture" that yall are talking about isnt supposed to be the middle finger. Its called a "pass-back" which is a hand signal for the upcoming yell. That particular yell is Beat the hell outta _____. (fill in the blank) Of all the things in the world to get worked up over............
