You are mixing shit up dude. Beck was a man when he was a SEAL. I bet he didn't express his feelings to be a woman to his brothers. Maybe he did maybe he didn't. I can't imagine he did because by its very nature it will cause a disruption within the group and that is something you absolutely cannot have, especially in that environment. Gays have been serving for years and years and some of them have probably been great servicemen and women but there is a reason they kept it hidden. Hell, George Washington recruited Baron Von Stubben to teach the Army how to do Drill and Ceremony and that guy was a flammer. Do I really care one way or the other who someone is or what they want to be? Not really, what I care about is #1 Can they accomplish the mission and #1a Order and discipline.
