The pollsters have enough influence to block it in order to prevent a rematch in favor of giving a new team a shot a la Florida moving up from 7 to 2 to prevent an OSU - Michigan. I can cheer for Oregon without reservation, we will not see them again unless both teams go south and it be in some lesser bowl.
I feel right now that UO would be behind an undefeated Boise St. in the pecking order of NC participants (in a very specific situation similar where there would be a clear #1 team, then UO and Boise vying for #2, and no one else even close).
this is a good point. now that UGA got rolled Boise will be first in line. kellen moore looks like drew brees' little brother. i actually watched that game during LSU's. and their front 7 is legit. well more like front 4. UO is done. and we can take solace in being the one to do so.
