    We don't play them this year during the regular season. Oregon St is on tap and we suck in Corvallis.

    Still, with Kiffin still here I anticipate (hope ?) a poor season and then Kiffin can get fired. How bad is that, to want your team to suck so the HC can get fired? lol

    That's my take also, you seldom know for sure about a new coach. Helfrich was National QB Coach of the year in 2010 and again last year, so that's encouraging. I can't hardly wait to see.


    Tig, I'm sure USC will beat the Ducks again, someday.

    LaMike and the Niners in the Superbowl,.. woooo!

    When that scumbag is your coach, I would say nothing is wrong with your comment. I'm sure there were plenty if anti-hitler Germans although I will admit that is a terrible analogy.

    Helfrich's promotion continues a two-decade-year-old Oregon tradition. He is the third consecutive Oregon offensive coordinator promoted to head coach since 1995.

    Kelly replaced Mike Bellotti in 2009, Bellotti succeeded Rich Brooks in 1995 (and Brooks was head coach since 1977)

    You sound like an LSU fan.

    I knew you never were too too crazy about Kiff but didn't realize how bad it was. I hadn't read your boards much at all in the last 18 months or so and really don't know how your fan basecurrently feels about him. Don't care either so I'm not probing. Sure glad to see you posting.

    fify for ya old pal. Nobody stays on top forever. ;)

    The Ducks are very special in regards to coaching continuity​

    only school in NCAA with the same coaching staff intact over the last 4 seasons​

    Oregon has not fired it's football coach since 1976​

    5 of Oregon's asst coaches have been with the Ducks for more than 20 years and were first hired by Coach Rich Brooks. 2 other asst coaches have more than 10 years at UofO​
