Oh, that's rough. Hey! It's finals week and I had just gotten done writting a 5 page essay. I was half brain dead and can't be held accountable for any misspellings.
That's ok Parso he was only defending himself on a jab i took at him. BTW i'm from d'ville too. MHS class of '94.
Relax CParso. Just teasing. You are at one fine university. When you finish, you won't make too many of those type errors. They will learn you better than that!!!!
I just can't wait till the season when the train wreck that is Ed Orgeron will happen, and when it does it'll be all over the sports media. He'll go off in some tirade ala Tommy Lasorda or Jim Mora and the F-bombs will be flying. Let the Rebs lose to Memphis or a team like Wyoming again and Orgeron will pull a Woody Hayes but on his own player instead. Maybe this is why Ole Miss' Admin hired him - this way they'll get on ESPN and be a sound bite on every sports radio show from now to the end of time. Better to get bad press than no press at all.
I can see it now!!!!! Next year, LSU wins!!!!!! Orgeron meets Miles at midfield. As he shakes Mile's hand, he headbutts him!! Wonder how many police can get there within two hours?
Yeah, then Orgeron could get reacquainted with his old pals at the local jail and get fired from yet another coaching job. The stupid thing is that you Ole Miss fans have actually bought into all this Orgeron B.S. and are apparently impressed by a guy who actually had a restraining order placed against him by a woman he used to beat up. Impressive. Orgeron is nothing more than trouble waiting to happen at Ole Miss and when it does I'm certain we will remind y'all that "we told you so".
mind boggling? dude ok never mind, i was gonna say that boggles your mind? Um there were a few kids that were predicted not to make it acedemically. and yes it can and is a problem, mainly with the state school board. BUT there were plenty who DID make it. articles written in MS are much like aticles written anywhere. news is news and gets exagerated. You think USC was the #1 team in 03? some of the writers thought so. I was merely saying we should mine his back yard, including west TN then let it show up on singing day, instead of doing what he is doing and bragging about what he might do. Rest assured there is plenty of talent in the area to get at. There must be enough to support Memphis St. Ole Miss and MSU, at whatever level that gives them. i don't remember anyone laughing at any pof those teams last year. I remember some pretty stout games and i remember MSU beating florida. might not mean a thing, HS potential is what you look for not necessarily HS allstars. some of the best College players developed as freshmen in college. HS kids sometimes stay close to home but LSU is a great program and not that far away. Some of those kids would jump at the chance to play at LSU. and dont think they aren't good enough. if i remember correctly Ole Miss might be the bain of the SEC but they give us a pretty good game year in and year out with those same players. it deserves a look see. good day.
Yes mind boggling. And don't get your drawers all tied in a knot for God's sake. I'm not trying to knock the players coming out of Miss, I know they have a lot of talent in the state. I did say we will get players out of Miss., cherry picking the ones we want and the ones we think we have a good shot at, we always do. I wish I could find the articles that I am referring to but after looking at a couple of hundred of the responses when I googled I had to give up. If it were just a writer saying these things that I would have been very sketical, but since they had interviews with Bowers and Sylvester and they talked about how bad the numbers were and that they are also going around the state trying to educate the educators on how to help kids retain become eligible I believe it. They also gave specific information on the top 20 ranked recruits in the state and how many of them were not going to be able to qualify at a D-1 school.
