Orgeron went 6-2 as interim head coach for both USC and LSU

Not firing Miles on the spot during the season was probably the right way to go.

 

He (miles) should have never started the season, had they kept him we probably lose more than what we did but who knows.

I'm going to fish taint out sooner or later. Surely he can't take much more

again, it's all about perception....especially when the course has already been decided

 

Why would you interview someone that you didn't feel qualified for the position? That is a dick move.

 

For sure, he should of been gone end of the previous season 100%. But the timing and the mid season firing of Miles is really what made it a cluster fuck. The leaks as well, they really need to stop.

 

That was the best thing Alleva did.

 

Yeah I had a good hard on for Herman, I was wrong IMO.

 

I am saying that a better AD would of not gotten to a position where he would need to fire a coach mid season. Not to mention firing a long term National Championship winning coach. Just all around I think it stunk. Miles should of been shown the door nicely the year before and a long proper search should of went down.

TBH I think we just ended up cluster fucking our way through it and came out the other side with a real nice result. Just lucky

 

And by Lucky I mean ending up with Coach O. Us being where we are now is all on him and the players, not luck
