    OU RB Samaje Perine rushed for 427 yards and 5 TDs against Kansas to set the NCAA single game rushing record. Not too shabby for a true freshman. Too bad for Melvin Gordon who barely had the record for one week.

    Before Gordon broke it last week, it stood for a decade. I'm sure he was hoping to have it for a little longer than 7 days.
