What we meant to say was Pac 4 because there are only actually 4 legitimate teams in your entire conference. Oregon, USC, Stanford, and.... Ok Pac 3.
no kidding. this duck fan seems to be an ok visitor. not the inbred guy, the one that corrected the inbred one.
I felt the same way at first, but he grows on you. It's the New England-er in him that makes him come off that way. He's a bit of a smart ass with the local media, but I think he hasn't figured out how to tame that back for the national media, so he comes across as arrogant. Brilliant football mind though, so I'll take the good with the bad.
Yeah…there was a couple of West Virginia posters like you last year, they disappeared after losing to us, I’m sure you will have the same fate.
Actually, The Ducks start out kinda slow. There were a few games where they jumped out quick, but it was against inferior competition. Tennessee, Stanford, ASU, Arizona, Oregon State all took early leads in those games. Oregon also went scoreless in the 1st quarter vs. Washington. IMO, I don't see a lot of scoring in the first half of this game. Maybe a 14-10 or 14-13 score at half time. It's in the 2nd half where we separate the men from the boys. Whoever wants it more will win the game. LSU's D will lock it down, as will Oregon's. Which ever offense can react the best to the 2nd half adjustments will win the game. I know that sounds simplistic, but it hold true. As far as conditioning, There may not be a more well conditioned team than the Ducks. Last year, everyone (Media and fans) talked about how UT would be better conditioned because of the heat, humidity, SEC talent and coaches, etc... But their linemen were begging for mercy (literally) in the 3rd quarter. Not saying that will happen with LSU, but that argument was put to rest last season.
Yep, that's exactly my take on Chip Kelly. He was an assistant coach at New Hampshire, never been a head coach before. Five Oregon assistant coaches have at least 20 years with the Ducks. Chip Kelly shows up, 2 years later he's head coach. Mutiny? Nope, Ducks just got better. Two time defending PAC10 Champions BCS National Championship runner-up Watch his interaction with the players during the game. Very inspiring. His players and coaches love this "arrogant prick", with a career record of 22 wins, 3 losses. He grows on you. Ducks!
