I'm definitely taking the over just because of the situation that brought him there, the probation problems, and the fact that he played there. He will be there a minimum of three seasons.
The BamaNation is quite pleased with him right now. He coached a good game and it was pretty cool when the ESPN cameras showed Don Shula, the winningest coach in NFL history in our pressbox wearing an Alabama shirt watching his son. We will see how he does in a bigger game next week when we play Oklahoma.
And they have been picked by quite a few to win the C-USA in their first year of play in the conference. They are no pushover.
I guess you posted this at halftime. Because I think Shula did very well. Lets face it, they started slow (So did we) and took a pretty good team to the woodshed... Not only does he stick around for awhile, but if he can recruit. He may become one heck of a coach. I thank the Bama faithful are just fine right now. Tack on that Auburn was a bust and overrated.
