I didn't feel too good about the defense; seems porous and still giving up too many big plays. Is it due to the scheme deficiencies, or missed assignments vs mismatches? Tackling was not particularly sharp at times.:nope:

Hope our co-DC's can fix it.

this is a big concern .

here is a typical drive against us...1st down run ...one yard gain...2nd down ...run ,one yard gain...third and eight...pass complete 11 yards first down.

run 2 yard loss..pass incomplete...third and twelve ...pass complete 15 yard gain ... 1st down....over and over...we have teams in third and long situations and they get 1st downs like it is third and one.

We made this moo u qb making his first start on the road in Tiger stadium look like Tom Brady...

Our pass defense is a big concern...and we havent faced a real qb who can throw it yet.

The defense concerned me last night, but wasn't it late in the 2nd quarter before MSU got their second first down? Let's not blow it out of proportion.

The one big breakdown was that nine-minute drive; that one concerned me.

A big problem in pass defense is lack of pressure on the qb... most of the sacks were coverage sacks... the new co-DC's seem to be gun-shy when it comes to blitzes...

I didn't want to bring it up, but I am REALLY concerned about our pass defense. Why Danny McCray continues to see the field is beyond me. To me, he is a liability. If the coaches see him as the best option, then our secondary is not nearly as far along as I thought.

They better get this thing fixed in a hurry or UF and UGA are going to have a field day throwing on us. Hard to believe that we have made the putrid Auburn and State offenses look like the Dallas Cowboys! (I am exaggerating of course!)

Well, today, the Dallas Cowboys offense is looking like AU or MSU.

Our defense has gave up 38 points in the last two games to teams that scored a combined 3 points when they played each other. Thats a big concern considering the only offense thats worse in the sec is Arkansas.
