He'll stay if there's a lockout for the NFL.

Matt McGuire has him number 1 overall on his big board for 2011 players.

The only way PP stays is if there's a lockout. but if there's a lockout, i'll miss the saints for a whole season.

North Carolina has 4 projected first round picks on Defense. 5 in the top 40.

This time last year, LSU had two projected first rounders in Ciron Black (a "surefire" top 15 pick) and Brandon LaFell. Quite obviously, these projections are usually incorrect.

I think Peterson is the real deal and will easily go top 15, but the thing about UNC having 4-5 first rounders is certianly subject to change.

Patrick Peterson is one the best CBs to come out in a while. Guy has the size speed coverage ability and can lay the wood. I honestly dont think we've ever had a CB as good as him here. We've had a lot of good ones, but nobody that dominate.

Not to take anything away from Mr. Patrick Peterson and you have to go back a ways, but Dr. Tommy Casanova was also a great LSU CB. I think he was moved to safety in the pros.

Here's a link with some of his LSU stats and other bio info... College Football Hall of Fame
