I just go with the legal stuff. Getting high ain't worth the hassle. Of course, I am a mature adult, so it's not that difficult.
Me too. I would love to be able to smoke a joint if it were legal, but can't see myself doing it b/c of my kids.
It's not really as much a hassle as some make it out to be. It's not like we go into crack town and risk getting shot and killed everytime. Some people get it mailed directly to them, some have friends who grow, etc. We are stoners, if it was a hassle we would probably be too lazy to deal with it....
I was around in the 60's although a little young to be smoking the peace pipe. I know former hippies that have been smoking for half a century that don't have as warped a political view as Red. Had he been doing heroin for 40 years I'd say yes blame it on the drugs. But pot isn't nearly strong enough to kill the amount of brain cells needed to think attaching yourself to Obama's schlong is a good idea. It ain't the weed.
Personally, I never touch the stuff because it puts me to sleep. However, if it was legal I would take a few puffs every night at bedtime.
