Re: First official baseball head coach candidate If we had the same offensive production, yea probably. But if we didn't have the D we had, we wouldn't have relied on them & we would have a had a better offense. If the defense can win the game, Jimbo tends to let them.
Re: First official baseball head coach candidate I laugh at your point.........OK would you have rather hired a big name coach and gone 13-0 and won the NC? Miles may be Lombardi my friend but IMO, he's Smoke or Archer. The farther he gets from Saban and his recruits, the farther down we go.

Re: First official baseball head coach candidate Of couse not. But the play calling would have been different if we were relying on our offense to win games. During the game, there still isn't much they could have done to make our players play better.
