Re: First official baseball head coach candidate

I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you.

Look, it's my opinion, chief. I'm the world's friggin' expert on my opinion, especially when I state so plainly, in CAPITAL letters. And I also stated that "many" were the same folks -- not "all", not "most" -- many. Was I lying?

If you ain't among the many . . then I ain't talking about you, right? Geez.

One point that I would love to be wrong on but.......we'll see. At least I'll be there to see if I'm right or not.

I don't think this so-called "talent" that everyone says we have is THAT great

We are forgetting that the last team Saban coached nearly lost to Troy AT HOME

Nearly lost to Ole Miss AT HOME

    Got hogwashed by Georgia

I just dont think this talent advantage that you homers claim we have is there...

With that being said, Les won too many close games last year to not gain some respect in my book.

It seemed like everygame, no matter how much our backs were on the walls, we'd pull it out

Play calling doesn't mean squat if the execution isn't there. Somehow I'm skeptical that Jimbo calls for a dropped ball or false start.

You need to relax, dude. Seriously. Maybe go take a jog and work off some of that steam.

If someone makes a generalization about you, I guarantee that you'd be the first one to point out its inaccuracy. I don't need to hear the riot act on the basics of opinions. But if yours is based on what I percieve as flawed data, what's wrong with pointing that out? Isn't that what the board is for???

Your glass is half empty. That's OK. Some people need to be pessimists, I guess.

Not the point. Look up sarcasm.

Re: First official baseball head coach candidate

I was making a generalization but it wasn't about you, amigo. You just personalized it. When I state that I'm making an opinion, then you are quite free to state an opposing opinion, that is what we are here for.

If I state facts that are not true, then shoot them down with some evidence, by all means. But pronouncing a stated opinion untrue with no explanation is absurd. It is entirely true that I have that opinion. I carefully stated that it was an OPINION, therefore not a matter of fact.

Am I upset, naaa? Just splitting hairs. It's the off season and I'm feeling polemical.
