I said he may be the next Lombardi. My guess though is the next Mike Archer. There's a bunch of gray area between Lombardi and Archer, cha-cha.

SabanFan don't you know that if our coach had been from a major program with serious tradition then they would have definately one 2 national championships last year. No coach worth his salt lets his team lose a game the week after their state is pelted by hurricane. If we had hired anyone with good name recognition we would be talking about a repeat NC this year.

Let me give you some facts here bud,

The following coaches are all undefeated at LSU
    Hal Mumme
    Larry Coker
    Rich Rodriguez
    Pete Carrol
    Tommy Tubberville
    Bobby Bowden

All those coaches combined have fewer lossed coaching at LSU than Les Miles had in his first two games as coach. Seems to me like we made a mistake.

Mike Archer never lead us to an 11-2 season. Our recruiting right now is still on level as it was with Saban. We are fine, now we need to find a baseball coach. I, for one, hope that Bianco is our next coach.

This post sounds alot like its coming from someone who never played football.

LSU won the national championship the year before the one you are talkin about everyone wants to beat the defending national championship we saw everyones A game. It is also near to impossible to get a team that good up for opponets as inferior as Troy and Ole Miss. As for Georgia we beat them twice the year before they had alot brewing and would not have let LSU beat them again.

As for the talent thing i challange you to find a team that will put out as many draft picks as LSU will the next 4 or 5 years. You want with maybe the exception of FSU or USC.

Good for you. A poor vocabulary is a terrible thing.

It means argumentative. The art of debate was once known as polemics. Martin and I once had a long thread on who was more of a polemic. We did not reach agreement.
