Maybe Ryan told him he was going there in the past few days, but there is no implication that Ryan's saying he was going to MSU had any bearing on Pegues choosing MSU as well.
Re: Pegeus claims RP set him up OK so I didn't word it right! The point is Pegues was told by RP that he was going to MooU and at the last minute did not. But it does lend itself to some speculation, especially to old myth fans.

He wanted to play for Saban because the man is so good at coaching DB's. Saban left so he was unsure of LSU. Before NS left he was going to all his visits, it was right after that, when he decided not to go down there. As late as last Thursday he was still considering a quick trip down to BR. He went to MSU because of Croom's ties with the NFL. Ryan had nothing to do with it. Derrick is no dummy, this isn't Powe you're talking about. I do think he would have been better served to go to LSU though. the boy has talent. maybe I can find out more when I see coach woods this weekend BUT it doesn't matter now. what's done is done.
