and i said that in another thread. it give that appearance to the national media, and they parrot it as truth. my physical therapist told me yesterday they didnt realize how much the lsu fans hate miles. it frustrates me to have every one thinking that because of a small but very vocal minority.
i think most fans get frustrated with miles being coo coo for cocoa puffs even though its in an innocent way. he cannot explain why he did or didnt do certain things during a game because 1 he has no idea what happened often times and 2 he couldnt explain it even if he did. this doesnt mean fans want him gone. it just means they want to strangle him sometimes. its like any relationship, especially long-term. some days you want to kill the bitch. but mostly you realize doing the time wouldnt be worth it. love is a fickle mf. this is why les is working hard to get a bigger contract. whether its here or michigan.
While I think Miles stays your name doesn't get brought up and stay brought up unless there is some interest. All he has to do is privately tell his agent I do/do not want this job and it's done. He doesn't want to close the door until he talks with them out of respect is my opinion. I have no issues if he goes but my gut tells me his immediate family means more than his draw to Michigan. If they don't want to leave then he stays. I also feel he really enjoys it here in Louisiana and his "LSU family" is on an even plane with his "Michigan family".
In a strange way, I agree with this. And in fact, I think 99% of those labeled "positigers" or "sunshine pumpers" do as well.
You might be right. I would never cheat on my girlfriend, but that doesn't mean I don't smile a bit on the inside when another broad tries to flirt with me at the bar. Coach Miles may want the flattery that comes with being wanted by his alma mater. LSU is the better situation for Miles and his family though, and there's no disputing that. Hell, even his mentor Bo told him as much before dying.
