Asswipe, the fact of the matter is that Nick Saban is what he is today because of LSU...not the other way around.

    Thanks for playing.

Guess these two "sources" lose credibility...as SHOULD be the case!

Does credible journalism exist???? Has EVERYONE in that profession taken the stance that if you don't know for certain, just paste, "sources CONFIRM" and sprinkle in key words such as "definately", "done deal", etc. throughout.

    Hogwash.

Typical rant from a typical Gator.

You were born on 3rd base and act like you hit the triple. What I mean by that is this: Florida football tradition didn't even exist until Spurrier COACHED there (yes, I'm aware he won a Heisman as a player for the Gators) but Florida didn't become a national power until Spurrier brought the Fun-n-Gun offense to Gainesville.

Is LSU the most glorified program?? Certainly not. I'm not irrational about it. But certainly Florida isn't either. Are both of our programs prominent players on the national stage in recent years? You bet. But don't even think about lecturing us about what our program lacks, or the talent level of our coach like you're from a school that has a history equal to that of Notre Dame, Michigan or USC.
