1. Saban Fan, were you able to find the study by the MIT Meteorology Professor, Richard Lindzen, that proves the model the UN Scientists is flawed?

  2. I have no doubt that global warming is a reality. The question is, is it man-made or the result of natural causes. Everyone has opinions but no one knows for sure. My approach is to use common sense. Let's go ahead and curve green house gasses. If the cause of global warming is natural we have done no harm; if it is man-made we have done some good.

  3. <Al Gore is the perfect is the example of global warming.
    1) He doesn't practice what he preaches
    2) He cuts and runs from debates.>

If Al Gore had never been born, the climate would still be as it is today.
  4. <If the cause of global warming is natural we have done no harm; if it is man-made we have done some good.>

    Bingo!
  5. we will have done harm. because a growing global economy is the only chance for happiness for millions, if not billions of folks in developing countries. so we should be primarily interested in creating wealth and encouraging international trade, not stunting the our economic growth.

you would not care about global warming if you were a honduran coconut farmer or a chinese trinket-maker, and your sales are down because the american economy is not what it should be. and the impact would be direct and terrifically damaging to you and your family. it wouldnt be some nebulous global warming crap that was hurting your family. it would be the decisions of first world white morons with a ridiculous set of priorities.
  6. I'm sure lots of crack pots challenge Gore to lots of things.
  7. Sorry, Buddy. But that's incorrect. The truth of the matter is that this entire argument is being championed by a political agenda that has been trying to redistribute wealth, both nationally and globally, since Engels and Marx first met. And the sad part is - after forking over billions to lazy, ineffective people/governments so they can hand it out as political capital - we're going to have exactly ZERO impact (real, measurable impact) on the planet. None.

Why? Because, even if the Man-made Global Warming myth were not a myth, we'd have to - globally - reduce CO2 emissions by like 60% to have any impact on the planet's temperature in any kind of reasonable timeline. And I'm not talking about huge changes in temp. I'm talking about fractions of 1 degree. 60%. Ain't. Friggin'. Happenin.

In the meantime, growth, progress, investment - all the things that have made America great - go bye bye.

It's called Socialism. And the Socialists aren't going to flip a big Karl Marx circuit breaker to make the switch. They're instead switching us over one assinine change at a time.

The good news - America is still a free market, at least for a little while, including information. Folks are waking up.

  8. Wouldn't it be fun for him to publicly defend his gospel with one respected scientist who doesn't buy what he's preaching? I'd think that if he's got the inconvenient truth on his side, he'd be very happy to do that.
  9. Climate change could kill 250,000 children

oddly enough, those dying children are in dirt poor countries. curiously, children in america are immune and wont be killed by climate change. it makes me think that perhaps it is the economies of these places that is to blame for killing these children? hmmmmmm? maybe lack of secular capitlist democracies is the issue, not so much the climate? or perhaps it is just coincidence that no kids die from "climate change" in des moines or sydney.
  10. it doesn't take a scientist to examine satellite images and know that something bad is happening to Planet Earth.

Crisscross North America in a light plane at an altitude of about 2000 feet, and than ask yourself this question: Is it possible that the activity of humans has failed to affect climate?

Never mind the opinions of politicians, scientists or dickheads on forums.

    Re: profits

It's time for man to reassess his basic needs, both physical and spiritual. Next time you visit Walmart, examine the things you do not need.
