here is the timeline: http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news;...YcB?slug=ys-bush_timeline&prov=yhoo&type=lgns It says New Era people visited Bush in the lockerroom, so yeah, USC knew this was going on... and it will indeed be a death penalty... It also says the 1st contact was made weeks before their OU game... so the only title they have shall now be erased!
And the fab 5 recieved hundreds of thousands and Michigan got a slap on the hand while LSU damn near got the death penalty for $5000 on hearsay of a crack head. Don't ever expect the NCAA to be fair and just, there is no more corrupt organization on the face of the earth.
Here's what I dont get. Bama got a sever probation for a recruit receiving benifits from a booster. The school knew nothing about it. USC knew about these sponsors and will receive nothing. Im no Bama supporter, but this doesnt sound right.
the NCAA should deem this as "lack of institutional control" much like in the cases of SMU Football and more recently Baylor Basketball. http://graphics.fansonly.com/confs/...tl.pdf#search="lack of institutional control"
the representatives met with Bush in the USC locker room... Having been someone who has tried to get in the LSU lockerroom after practice, the coaches and such know EXACTLY who is in there, and why they are in there
Only quote from the USC rivals board: "Go back to your board" I guess if you don't acknowlege it could have happened, the possibility doesn't exist.
they can feel their little dynasty beginning to crumble... The ncaa WILL do something to them here, b/c this thing will turn into a media monster, b/c Bush is such a figure-head
