I expect Perriloux will get first-half PT, perhaps a drive in the 2nd quarter. We need an experienced QB next season. Perrilloux is also said to be exceedingly good in the red zone. I wouldn't be surprised to see him come in at times to surprise the defense inside the twenty with the triple threat of run/pass/option. Make those SEC defensive coordinators have to plan for two very different quarterbacks just to complicate their game week.
I agree with that, RP's strength is that he is a dual-threat, I'm not really sure how his option game is so i'll leave it at that. He had 68 touchdowns his senior year (which seems ages ago) and 38 of those touchdowns were on the ground. So even if he hasn't fully grasped the system yet or for some reason isn't there yet, we at least know he can scramble for some yards and get us a couple TD's.
Will he have to sport an orange vest and trash poker during practice until his community service is up?
Very good points. ...they are already giving me goosepimples I am just praying that Perriloux did really come around, and instill enough respect among his teammates to rally around him when his time comes. Hope Miles fixed his cocky attitude.
He played my high school in the state playoffs in either his junior or senior year. Just ran all over us.. it was like a man amongst boys, and our team had a decent defense that year. I didn't mean to compare him to Tebow but I always saw him as a dual threat guy who can do very well on the ground. I think in high school he had nearly as many touchdowns rushing as he did passing. And I definitely consider him a better athlete than Flynn. This is no knock on Flynn because Flynn is a great athlete as well, it's just that Perrilloux was insane in high school and hasn't really had the opportunity to display it on the college level but he is one of the more talented players to ever play football at LSU.
