I read Dandy Don's report, so I got curious and called RP, and he said that the news was true and that he verbally committed to Coach Miles, but he will sign on Signing Day, so he can have time to back away and reevaluate himself. I don't think he changes his mind though!
WAHOO! I know it might not be true... but this could turn out to be a very exciting recruiting class and some even more exciting football in the next couple years! COME ON RP! L - S - U!!!!
You DA MAN!!!!!!! ....and so is RP!!!! .....ugh...you wouldn't lie to us would you? You're not playing some cruel prank with us? :thumb:
I was reading posts on a Texas Longhorns forum. The thoughts there seem to be split evenly between believing he will end up at Texas, end up at LSU, and who the hell knows. The most original post of those that are worried that RP will be an LSU Tiger is "Yeah, right now he looks about as committed as Paris Hilton is to abstinence".
cgisclair, I am praying that what you posted will turn out to be true as the last month or so had been rough for all Tiger fans, going from the speculation on Saban's departure to the new coach search choices, and the final 2005 commits. The emotional roller coaster rides are certainly no fun. I think for RP, it doesn't matter which good college program he attends IF he were to be successful in college. His future in the NFL will be set. However, one good reason he goes to LSU is that he will be a legend in his home state :thumb: ________ Vaporite solo instructions
I will talk to him Monday at school, but for now I am willing to bet the farm on this, because he has been leaning this way a long time now
