Well, he let all of us down, the people who were supporting him. Sad ending to so much talent.

    Day-yum.

Now that he's gone, I realize just how hopeful I was that he would pull it together...

Me too. I feel bad for his team mates. He left them with a pretty shaky QB situation. And we will no doubt start off the season lower in the polls.

I think J. Lee will surprise. RP didn't have THAT much experience over him.

Hell, Hatch has ALREADY surprised - he looked better than Lee (who looked OK) in the Spring Game.

    But....DAY-YUM!

Well, there goes Jordan Jefferson's redshirt, I would guess.

Sure, anything can happen. RP could have overcome inexperience with pure athletic ability. Lee needs the experience, and has none. This is the SEC.

Yes, it is the SEC, where a soph. QB just became the first person to win the Heisman as a Sophomore. So, with the incredible talent he's going to be surrounded by I'm very optimistic that he's in the best possible situation for a QB lacking experience to flourish.

RP only had a couple of games under his belt, not that big a deal.
