Phuck PETA!! They have no stroke, no legal powers, and a weak hand to boot. All they are is a bunch of whinny b!tches who get together and protest every so often. If they want to protest, I say let them. LSU boasts well over 100,000 on campus for conference games. Let's have the protest scheduled for the weekend of the Auburn game. PETA can show up and voice their opinions, and we can voice ours. Whose do you think will be heard the loudest?

True that. This is a ridiculous, pissy little shakedown by PETA, who value animal lives more than people. Organizations like this are always on 'uppity and outraged' mode, where they're always protesting something to shake down organizations and companies for donations. The more they can protest, the more money they can rake in. Once you back down to PETA, other groups will start marching on LSU- then it'll be NCAAP about how Tiger honors a confederate batillion or some other BS they're trying to sell to the media.

Neither this board nor LSU should be taking them seriously enough to respond to their whining.

If an idiot comes up to you and tells you that you're a horrible human being, that doesn't suddenly make it incumbent upon you to refute his claim.

This organization is a complete, utterly irrelevant mockery of an activist movement, whose constituency has neither the brains nor the aptitude for understanding what really matters on this earth. They should be ignored at any cost.

Oh, I'm am in know way taking them seriously. I just thought it would be a kick to see some of the e-mails tiger forum posters would come up with. Much like when we were all getting thrown off the ND board. :eek:ldskule:

But that's exactly my point. When you're dealing with foolishness like this, any response at all is taking them too seriously. Any publicity, good or bad, is precisely what fuels them. It's the way you deal with misbehaving children. They're not looking for a conclusion, they simply want attention. The only thing they cannot tolerate is being ignored. For awhile they will yell and scream even louder; an attempt to force your attention. But eventually they'll realize they're wasting their breath, or more specifically, their hot air.

I think you can post a message for them here:

Don't you know that it is better for a tiger in the wild to be poached so some chinese nut can make an aphrodisiac out of his testicles, than to live a life of ease at Baton Rouge.
