Pete Carroll should be fired for a 10-2 season with all that TALENT

    More like .0000000000000000000001 National Championships.

AP NCs are worth about as much as an iraqi dinar.

How exactly? Carroll is 2 years removed from a NC, Miles has only been here for 2 years. Miles lost 2 last year, Carroll lost 1. The biggest reason the Miles haters wanna see him go is b/c they think losing 4 games over two years isn't acceptable, even considering the situations under which last season and this year's road schedule was played. At least CLM's losses were to teams ranked at the top 5 at the time. Petey has even less of an excuse, looking at who he's lost to this year.

My point is that it's equally absurd to claim that one coach is ineffective, incompetent, should be fired, etc., when another one, who has performed very similarly within the same period of time, is treated like a college football genius.

My point is that you shouldn't even have opened this topic up for debate!

Why not? The bashers have been posting about this forever. Time to put their money where their mouth is.

The media made Petey out to be a football god...not us. Petey made a few bonehead moves today - especially the timeout instead of calling for a challenge on that interception. would probably end up the same, but why not try. After this lost, does this means Petey will reunite w/ his secret lover - Leinart next year? Especially when we kick their asses in the Rose Bowl!

Just to clarify things: this thread isn't directed to the rational posters who want to dscuss real points of debate concerning Miles' coaching job. This is for people whose kneejerk reaction is to fire him without considering any other factors.

For me? Oh, you shouldn't have! I'd like to thank all the little people who made this possible.

Really, great maturity there. If this is the best you can come up with to rebut me, just stop trying.
