I agree. If they're indeed entertaining the idea of a "plus one" game, to be held after the bowl games, then that's pretty good--good enough--for me.

I like all of the different bowl games because it gives teams with no shot at the NC like Tulane :rofl: something to play for. I think the top 8 teams should be in a playoff system while the rest of the top ranked teams get paired in bowls.

Yes...even Tulame can have something to play for. I LIKE bowl games! I like the idea of rewarding multiple teams, and multiple players for a season well-played.

If college football had 32 teams like the pros, then ok, a playoff is ok. But HOW do you justify trimming down 119 teams into a playoff??

Keep the BCS, give 2 bowl games teams ranked 1 thru 4. 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3 and THEN the following week, those two winners play for the undisputed title.
